In order to ensure visitor safety, the Wendel Miners Museum applies the preventive activities decided by the government for public administrations.
The Wendel Miners Museum is open under the usual circumstances.It is recommended not to come to the museum with bags and suitcases.Large capacity suitcases and bags are prohibited.All persons must undergo security checks. In case of refusal, access to the museum will be denied. The Wendel Miners Museum thanks its visitors in advance for their understanding of the slowdown caused by entry controls

Tips:

Remember to wear sensible shoes for your visit, which can last up to 3 hours if you combine the Museum and the Mine.

Temperatures in the Wendel Mine are similar to those outside, so remember to dress accordingly.

“Sécuri-site”

As part of the departmental plan for major tourist sites drawn up by the prefect of the department, Explor Wendel Park has signed an agreement aimed at contributing to the safety of visitors to the site in its daily operations and therefore to obtaining the “Sécuri-site” label.

This aims to foster cooperation with the responsible authorities and to unite efforts in terms of visitor safety welcomed each year at The Wendel Mine and the Wendel Miners Museum. It defines the powers of each person and defines the activities for prevention, safety, protection and care of possible victims.

Represented by a visual logo easily identifiable by the public, it will be displayed in the most frequented areas of Explor Wendel Park, particularly at entrances and in high-traffic areas.
