2. Limitation of liability
The user acknowledges having read these terms of use and undertakes to comply with them.
The user of the website acknowledges that he/she has the necessary skills and resources to access and use this website. The user of the website acknowledges that he/she has checked that the computer configuration used does not contain any viruses and that it is in perfect working order. The Publisher makes every effort to provide users with available and verified information and/or tools, but cannot be held responsible for errors, lack of availability of features and/or the presence of viruses on its website. The information provided by this website is for information purposes only and does not exempt the user from further and personalised analysis. The publisher cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information published on their website. Consequently, the user acknowledges that he/she is solely responsible for using this information. The user is informed that during their visits to the website, a cookie may be automatically installed on their browser software. A cookie is a block of data that does not allow users to be identified but is used to record information relating to their browsing behaviour on the website. 3. Intellectual Property
The general structure as well as the software, texts, images, animated or not, its know-how and all the other elements that make up the website are the exclusive property of the Publisher.
Any representation or reproduction, translation, adaptation, transformation, total or partial of this site and its contents by any person whatsoever, without the express authorisation of the Syndicat Mixte du Musée de la Mine is prohibited and would constitute an infringement punishable by articles L. 335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code (CPI).
Any person who reproduces work on an Internet server without the author’s authorisation to make it available to the public commits an act of counterfeiting (Articles L 335-2 and L 716-9 of the CPI). Counterfeiting is a civil offence (punishable by damages) and a criminal offence (punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a €150,000 fine). Counterfeiting covers all illegal, i.e. unauthorised, reproductions and distribution. The same applies to databases appearing, where applicable, on the website, which are protected by the provisions of the law of 1 July 1998 which transposes into the Intellectual Property Code the directive of 11 March 1996 on the legal protection of databases, and of which the Syndicat Mixte du Musée de la Mine is the producer. The brands and logos appearing on the site are registered trademarks. Any total or partial reproduction of these brands or logos made from the elements of the site without the express authorisation of the Publisher is therefore prohibited under the Intellectual Property Code. Users and visitors of the website may not set up a hyperlink to this website without the express prior authorisation of the Publisher. The Publisher cannot be held responsible for access by users via hypertext links set up within the website to other resources on the network. Any dispute related to the use of the site is subject to French law. The user acknowledges the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Forbach.
4. General Data Protection Regulations
In accordance with the GDPR, the website of the Syndicat Mixte du Musée de la Mine only collects the information required, with the user’s consent, to subscribe to the newsletter.
The data collected is limited to the fields present on the registration form for the user who wishes to benefit from the information transmitted via email or post as part of cultural events, exhibitions or shows related to the Explor Wendel Park. This information is only used by the communication department of the Syndicat Mixte du Musée de la Mine and is not passed on to any other organisations.
